Registering for Classes:
  • If you are transitioning to Pinecrest from another High School, you will need to complete the enrollment paperwork on the Moore County Schools Website (LINK) and you will be contacted by our Register, Kelsey Moss (kmoss@ncmcs.org), to schedule an appointment during the Summer.  We will start contacting families to schedule appointments starting in mid-May.
  • Minimum Graduation Requirements(22 total): 4 English, 4 Math, 4 Social Studies, 3 Science, Health & PE, 6 Electives.
    Additionally, Four-Year Universities often require 2 credits of a foreign language (ex. Spanish 1 & Spanish 2)

Schedule Change Criteria: PHS Criteria
We will NOT make schedule changes based on teacher requests and we do not change elective courses.

Athletic Eligibility: 
  • High School Athletes must pass or have passed 3 full credit/classes (Year-long courses count as 0.5) the semester prior to their sports season to maintain eligibility.
  • If you play a spring sport, you must pass at least 3 full classes in the Fall to be eligible for a Spring Sport.

ACT: Required for all Juniors (March)
